How does a BBL in Turkey work?
In preparation for the procedure, your doctor may recommend that you avoid certain activities, such as smoking, for at least three weeks before the procedure. After the procedure, you will not be able to sit on your buttocks or sleep on your back for about two weeks, or until the area has healed sufficiently. You may have some swelling for several weeks, but the pain should be minimal. Your surgeon will discuss this with you and may prescribe pain medication. You can resume light daily activities after a week, but you should not exert yourself or lift heavy objects.
After this time, your surgeon will assess whether you have healed enough to sit on your buttocks using a donut-shaped seat or pillows under your thighs. You cannot return to a normal sitting position for about eight weeks, and you can return to work after seven to 10 days.
